Job Overview
The Quality Inspector will conduct detailed inspections according to technical data from the manufacturer’s instructions, service bulletins, and FAA-approved data, covering preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspections for civil aviation airworthiness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Familiarize with inspection methods, techniques, aids, tools, and equipment.
  • Maintain proficiency and ensure inspection tools and equipment are in proper working order.
  • Understand inspection specifications, tolerances, and procedures.
  • Ensure inspections are properly performed and recorded, ensuring articles maintained or altered are approved for return to service.
  • Replace failed components, perform scripted repair procedures, and assist Repair technicians/Engineers as needed.
  • Follow inventory control practices and interpret OEM manuals and instructions.

Qualifications:
  • Powerplant License required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with hand and pneumatic tools.
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting and repair preferred.
  • Ability to complete pre-defined testing and repair procedures.
  • Business proficiency in English required; Spanish preferred.
  • CFM56 experience and Quantum aviation software experience preferred.
