Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Education/ Special Education
- Texas Educational Diagnostician Certificate or Valid LSSP License
- Experience in School Setting
Responsibilities:
- Develop individualized educational plans,conduct evaluations/eligibility per District and Federal Educational guidelines.
- Attend meetings with multi-disciplinary teams to discuss services and provide evaluation findings.
- Follow District standards for assessment/evaluation/eligibility and if eligible, develop individualized educational plans for students .
- Comply with evaluation timelines as per federal law.
- Select and administer appropriate diagnostic instruments and techniques and organize evaluation data into educational plans.
- Prepare and submit reports of evaluation results to appropriate supervisor and administrator.
- Serve as a member of the Admission, Review and Dismissal Committee.
- Complete evaluations, documentation and submit prior to billing.
- Work as needed (maximum of 40 hours per week) and provide their own transportation.
- Other duties as assigned by administration.
