Accountant/Bookkeeper

Overview:
Perform accounting functions for small business in Albuquerque. Example of duties will include month end close accounting processes, accounts payable and accounts receivable, inventory control, payroll and bank reconciliations.
DUTIES:
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Enter account information into general ledger
- Create invoices
- Journal entries using accounting codes
- Reconcile and analyze discrepancies
- Closing of month end financials
- File accounting audits timely
- Cover for other employees during lunch breaks
- Resolve vendor issues
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and or at least three years work experience as bookkeeper/accounting.
- Accrual Accounting understanding
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook
- Strong mathematical skills
- Bilingual - English/Spanish
- Exceptional analytical skills
