Preschool Assistant Group Supervisor

Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher with planning and implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
- Help create a safe and stimulating classroom environment for children.
- Monitor and engage with children during playtime, meals, and other daily routines.
- Provide individual and group support to children as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and progress.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Must be patient, nurturing, and able to create a positive learning environment.
- Flexibility in scheduling is a plus.
- Completed CDA program.
Skills Required:
- At least two years of experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.
- To pass state, federal, and child abuse background checks.
- To be 18 years or older and legally able to work in the United States.
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a full-time, year-round position. The starting salary is relative to experience & education ranging from $16.00 up to $17.50 with an increase based on performance after completing your first 90 days. Bright Light Academy is open five days a week, but full-time staff works a four-day workweek.
