Human Resource Dimensions has been engaged to place a Senior HR Manager for a global manufacturing company in Jacksonville, FL. The Senior HR Manager will provide HR support to each of their locations, including corporate.  We are seeking an HR Leader with 10+ years of HR experience and extensive experience in Labor Relations.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide HR generalist support for sales, marketing, R&D, and staff groups located in all locations, in support of business objectives.  Provide assistance with HR generalist support for the global HR function, as necessary.  Direct the application of all HR and administration policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Act as the HR Business Partner supporting the outsourced recruiting process.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal employment regulations, such as ADA, FMLA, and EEO.  Assist with the development of diversity programs as necessary.
  • Conduct investigations on complaints of discrimination, harassment, etc.
  • Provide HR advice and support to respective department heads with regard to both tactical and strategic HR issues to ensure optimal performance of their teams.
  • Manage, update, and publicize corporate policies and practices.
  • Partner with Talent Management, and implement the Coaching model and principles supporting organizational effectiveness.  Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance as well as training and development issues.  Identify solutions to specific development needs.
  • Develop a field personnel support model working with Directors, HR Canada, US, and France.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist within an international corporation.  Proven track record in a broad HR function at the professional level.
  • Extensive experience in Labor Relations, including experience administering and negotiating collective bargaining agreements with labor unions.
  • Extensive knowledge of state and federal human resources law, compensation and benefits administration, and general knowledge of HRIS.  Excellent employee relations skills, coaching skills and certifications, and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and administration.
  • Bilingual French desirable.
