Qualifications:
- Must be a nurse RN or LPN.
- Must have home care experience.
- Have experience in Prior Authorization submission processes.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good computer skills.
- Assist in the completion of Prior Authorization document requests.
- Review Prior Authorization documents for completion and accuracy.
- Submit Prior Authorization requests to appropriate insurance companies for approval.
- Track submitted PA requests.
- Audit to ensure PAs are in place for all patients.
- In charge of PA appeals and follow up on any additional requests for documents needed for PA approval.
- Manage and maintain tracking PA tool.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
