Canada Dry, a member of the Honickman Companies, is a leading beverage distributor. Founded in 1970, we service the Maryland and Virginia area, providing brands such as Sunkist, A&W, 7UP, Snapple, Sparkling Ice, Essentia and Rock Creek.
 
We are seeking a Conventional Driver (Class B & Class A) for our Richmond, VA facility by transport and deliver products to stores and supermarkets on assigned routes in a safe and efficient manner. Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Obtain routing information, stops and customer billing daily.
  • Organize route.
  • Transport products to the customers and unload product from truck.
  • Merchandise product where required.
  • Collect money from billing if required.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION: 
  • 0-6 months commercial truck driving experience, including standard transmission (if applicable).
  • Must maintain a valid Class A or B CDL with air brakes endorsement. As verified by a current MVR/driver abstract, must meet all qualifications as defined under DOT Regulation 49 CFR 383.51.
  • Must be knowledge of FMCSA regulations.
  • Must meet Company Driver MVR Qualification Standards.
  • Must be experienced with working with a Pallet Jack, Store Dolly and Store Jacks.
  • Related training or certification.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Office equipment including, but not limited to, computer, hand-held, phone, fax machine, copier and calculator.
