Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage collections and post rent receipts in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Approve invoices and post accounts payable, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Supervise on-site team members, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest level of customer service.
  • Manage move-ins and move-outs, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for residents.
  • Participate in leasing and renewal activities, working closely with the leasing team to achieve sales goals.
  • Assist in the development of budgets and property performance goals, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Ensure the established financial and operational goals of the property are met, making adjustments as needed to maintain optimal performance.
  • Assist with the project management of capital improvements at the property, working closely with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding promptly to concerns and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure the highest quality maintenance and turnover work, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Manage vendors, contractors, and other external partners, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience as a Property Manager.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience at a 400+ unit property.
  • Bilingual preferred in Spanish.
  • Prior experience with properties undertaking renovations is preferred, but not required.
  • Prior experience with Yardi software is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to multitask, achieve deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Strong supervisory skills with the ability to hire, lead, and manage team members.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Successful candidates must be able to pass a background check.
