Inventory Specialist/Admin Assistant

Nubble Site Solutions, Precision ProFile, NextDayGPS and SiteBoss are tightly integrated small businesses with shared ownership based out of Southern Maine. The businesses work hand in hand to manufacture (R&D, testing, programming), distribute, support (in office or on site), and prepare data (heavy highway to residential) for all things GPS construction staking.
This role is a bit like a Swiss army knife. The perfect candidate will have a “whatever needs to get done” attitude and is willing to learn multiple sides of the businesses. This job encompasses Inventory Specialist, and Admin Assistant related tasks.

Inventory related tasks may include shipping, receiving, ordering, organizing and maintaining product in the stockroom by following company Policy and Procedures. You must be willing to learn GPS product to understand how to bench test systems to company standards. Admin Assist related tasks will include duties such as paying bills, sending invoices, and receiving payment. Other responsibilities of the Inventory Specialist/Admin Assistant encompass liaising/scheduling with maintenance techs (HVAC, plumbing) when needed, stocking the bathrooms, and taking out the trash.
Reports to: Internal Operations Manager
Expected Hours: Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm
Duties & Expectations:
- Organize and maintain new/used inventory in the stockroom and sales employees' vehicles
- Locate, pick, and pack parts for orders using Cin7 inventory software
- Complete quarterly (and as needed) stock counts
- Domestic shipping and receiving with UPS
- Manage incoming and outgoing repairs via email and spreadsheets
- Manage employee assets and inventory via email and spreadsheets
- Willing to learn how to bench test GPS and machine control systems
- Accurately record/categorize expenses, pay bills, and reconcile accounts
- Send invoices, receive payment, and manage AR
- Track company owned vehicle maintenance, registrations, and insurance cards
- Facilities management may include taking out trash, restocking bathrooms, salting/shoveling front steps etc.
- Liaise with maintenance vendors including HVAC, plumber, electrician, handy man, etc.
Requirements:
- Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports as needed using Cin7 inventory software
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail is a must
- Good with numbers is a must
- Computer skills - Must be familiar with Outlook, Word, Xcel, and capable of learning inventory software
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and use a ladder
- Must be a self-starter, be able to take initiative and work independently.
- Good problem-solving skills and positive, team-oriented attitude.
Compensation:
- Starting $17 - $20 per hour
- Starting pay is depending on relevant experience, skills, and knowledge
