 IMPACT YOU WILL HAVEThe Oracle EBS Apps Developer supports the company's financial systems. These systems include enterprise resource planning systems, commercial off-the-shelf integration, web applications, web services, mobile applications, and integration frameworks. The developer / engineer will also provide technical support to internal business customers. LOCATION

  • The Oracle Apps Developer is required to be in the office two days per week and must reside within a reasonable commuting distance. Relocation assistance is available to those more than 70 miles from the office.
 HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
  • Take the helm in supporting Oracle ERP systems, navigating through web applications and web services, and orchestrating seamless integration frameworks.
  • Craft ingenious and forward-thinking solutions to meet business needs. Collaborate within an agile team of engineers and systems analysts to create top-tier applications and products within the current framework, all while envisioning future possibilities.
  • Forge collaboration with vendor technical support, enterprise system administration teams, and project development staff to guarantee the seamless implementation of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) integrations within the enterprise.
  • Provide comprehensive support for the analysis, development, and maintenance of software and web architecture requirements.
  • Develop an in-depth comprehension of how our systems and platforms interconnect within the corporate landscape.
  • Guarantee completion of critical technical design documentation to the highest standards.
  • Create prototypes and visuals to aid in illustrating high-level product concepts and epic stories effectively.
  • Write and maintain strong unit, functional and integration tests to be automated in a continuous integration environment.
  • Minimize operational downtime for critical, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance by expediting the deployment of approved changes, fixes, updates, and solutions.
  • Implement automation for manual maintenance tasks, deployment processes, diagnostic health checks, validation procedures, and reporting, ensuring swift and efficient operations.
  • Continuously advance the company's application platform to align with scaling, security, and compliance requirements, ensuring ongoing optimization and adaptation to meet evolving business demands.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and design evaluations while providing expert guidance on best practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement aimed at enhancing stability and efficiency across the board.
 IDEAL PROFILE
  • Experience: 5+ years advanced computer programming skills, including Oracle EBS through release R12.2.11 in a production 
  • Experience with analyzing functional requirements to create/modify system and service architectures and designs and to write detailed design technical documents.
  • Expertise in Oracle EBS RICEFW development and advanced technical skills in Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, Unix/Linux, JDeveloper, OAF Customizations, etc.
  • Significant experience & technical knowledge related to Oracle EBS functional modules and process flows (Procure to Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (RTR), Order to Cash (OTC) and others).
  • Proficiency with Oracle EBS Web ADI, form personalization, web page personalization, and experience with Procurement/Supply Chain modules.
  • Involvement in PL/SQL programming including Stored Procedures, Constraints, Joins, Keys, Indexes, Data Import/Export, Triggers, Cursors and SQL Loader.
  • Skills with Oracle Application Framework (OAF), Workflow Builder, and XML Publisher.
  • Hands-on experience in programming skills in Java/J2EE, REST API, SOAP etc.
  • Location: Reston, VA. Reside within a reasonable commute to the office or be willing to relocate to the area upon hire. (assistance provided from within the USA)
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
  • Work Authorization: US Citizen / Green Card holder preferred. Will consider H-1B visa holder with an approved I-140.
