Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Investigative Analyst to join our team at QinetiQ US. As a Technical Investigative Analyst, you will leverage your extensive analytic and technical skills to analyze large data sets and identify concerning behavior and non-obvious correlations in Cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis: Leverage investigative, analytic, technical, and writing skills to analyze large data sets thoroughly and efficiently to identify concerning behavior and non-obvious correlations, particularly as it relates to Cloud environments.
  • All-Source Analysis: Perform all-source analysis in support of the mission.
  • Reporting and Briefing: Research, prepare, and present reports and briefings as required.
  • Fraud Detection: Detect fraud, waste, abuse, and misuse of information technologies systems.
  • Methodology Development: Propose new methodologies and/or tools to improve analytic capabilities.
  • Collaboration: Participate in working groups and technical meetings to address issues.
Requirements
  • Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
  • Technical Skills: Strong SQL experience, and technical experience relevant to querying and analyzing data for investigative or operational purposes.
  • Investigative Experience: Demonstrated investigative, analytic and/or operational experience.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrated effectiveness in providing impromptu as well as prepared data analysis and briefings.
  • Closing Out Investigations: Demonstrated effectiveness in closing out investigative efforts and presenting findings for review and action.
  • Writing Skills: Strong writing skills, to include formal written reports and less-formal email correspondence.
  • Technical Representation: Demonstrated effectiveness in collecting and analyzing potentially highly-technical information and accurately representing/visualizing it to non-technical third parties.
  • Judgment: Exceptional judgment in support of questions generated from data holdings.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Coding Experience: Experience coding in Python, R, Java, or similar languages.
  • Cloud Experience: Experience with Cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
