Brentwood Pediatrics is a busy pediatric office in St. Louis County.  We are looking to fill a full-time position within the front desk department.  The applicant should be patient focused, work well with all departments, be team-oriented and willing to adapt and change as the position does.  This is a full-time position with benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with providers to manage and track all referrals, complete prior authorization and pre-certifications in a timely manor.
  • Provide excellent customer service by welcoming families in the office and following up with families about their referrals.
  • A variety of clerical activities including but not limited to: registering patients, collecting copayments and past due balances, collecting and validating patient. insurance information, answer and screen phone calls, schedule and confirm appointments.
  • Conducts self in accordance with HIPAA policies and office policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Experience with EPIC EMR System.
  • Experience in pediatrics and referrals preferred but not required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the medial field.
