Requirements Financial Management:
  • Budget Development and Oversight:
    • Prepare, develop, and monitor the annual budget for the ACT program.
    • Track and manage program expenditures, ensuring alignment with the budget.
    • Provide regular financial reports and updates to program leadership.
  • Grant Management:
    • Oversee the financial aspects of grant applications, compliance, and reporting.
    • Ensure that grant funds are utilized appropriately and within the stipulated guidelines.
  • Expense Monitoring:
    • Review and approve program-related expenses.
    • Implement cost-control measures to maintain financial efficiency.
Accounting and Reporting:
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Ensure accurate and timely submission of all financial reports to stakeholders, including funders and regulatory bodies.
  • Accounting Operations:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
    • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
    • Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
Compliance and Audit:
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and standards.
    • Stay updated on changes in financial laws and regulations affecting the program.
  • Audit Coordination:
    • Prepare for and coordinate internal and external audits.
    • Implement audit recommendations and corrective actions to improve financial practices.
Team Collaboration and Support:
  • Training and Guidance:
    • Provide financial training and support to program staff.
    • Assist team members in understanding financial processes and compliance requirements.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with program managers, directors, and other stakeholders to ensure financial transparency and accountability.
    • Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of program strategies and goals.
Systems and Process Improvement:
  • System Management:
    • Manage and optimize financial management systems and software.
    • Implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and efficiency.
  • Policy Development:
    • Develop and update financial policies and procedures.
    • Ensure that all financial practices align with organizational goals and standards.
