**Join Our Team as the Vice President of Finance****Overview:**As the Vice President of Finance at our esteemed Federally Qualified Health Center with multiple service sites in the East Bay and an operating budget of $46 million, you will be a key financial leader. Collaborate closely with the CEO and the leadership team to enhance clinical service operations and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and community.**Key Responsibilities:**- Shape strategic growth, solve organizational challenges, and develop policies in Executive Team meetings.- Prepare financial statements, budgets, and reports for stakeholders.- Communicate the organization's financial health to the Executive Management Team and Board of Directors.- Develop fiscal policies ensuring compliance with regulations and meeting workforce and client needs.- Manage contracts, grants, and agreements aligning with our mission and goals.- Support programs with administrative functions like contract management and personnel coordination.- Establish internal financial controls following GAAP standards.- Ensure fiscal compliance through policy development and training.- Provide financial management guidance to managers.- Report monthly to the Board of Directors’ Finance Committee on financial matters.- Represent the organization as the Chief Financial Officer in meetings and collaborations.- Oversee the inventory process for fixed assets and implement safeguarding policies.- Manage annual financial audits ensuring adherence to requirements.- Guide the accounting team in payroll management and reporting.- Lead and support staff in business and fiscal areas to maintain a collaborative work environment.- Uphold commitment to service excellence in all relationships and interactions.**Requirements:**- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; master’s degree preferred.- At least 5 years of administrative experience in healthcare organizations.- Familiarity with managed care environments is a plus.- Knowledge of mergers and acquisitions desirable.**Qualifications:**- Strong financial operations planning and decision-making skills.- Experience in nonprofit or FQHC settings preferred.- Previous payroll management experience strongly preferred.- Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and under pressure.- Proven leadership abilities with a focus on building trust and respect within the team.- Excellent problem-solving skills, including creativity and technical knowledge.- Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.**Benefits:**We offer comprehensive benefits including full medical coverage, dental, vision, generous paid leave, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, and more Join us in creating innovative solutions that truly make a difference
