Position Overview:

As a Vice President, you will be a critical member of our leadership team, responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring and managing key client relationships. This role is designed for a seasoned seller/doer who excels in both business development and the execution of high-value consulting engagements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating significant revenue, cultivating long-term client relationships, and delivering exceptional consulting services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Generation: Lead the charge in identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities across target markets, including major law firms, corporations, accounting firms, and government entities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, serving as a trusted advisor and ensuring the delivery of high-impact consulting services that meet their needs.
  • Market Expansion: Drive the firm's market presence by identifying emerging trends and opportunities in economic, financial, and strategic consulting. Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing client portfolios.
  • Engagement Leadership: Lead and manage consulting engagements, from proposal development to project delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including research, analysis, and delivery teams, to design and implement solutions that address complex client challenges.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent the firm at industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities to enhance the firm's reputation and visibility in the market. Contribute to the development of thought leadership content.
  • Revenue Targets: Achieve and exceed revenue targets set by the firm by effectively managing sales pipelines, forecasting revenue, and executing strategies to close deals.
  • Client Satisfaction: Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by consistently delivering value-added services, addressing client concerns, and fostering a collaborative partnership.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a revenue-generating role within the consulting industry, with a focus on economic, financial, or strategic consulting. Proven track record of securing and managing high-value client relationships.
  • Education: Advanced degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills:

    • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand complex client needs and provide tailored consulting solutions.
    • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
    • Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously while maintaining a focus on quality and client satisfaction.
    • Strategic thinking with a demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Leadership: Experience in leading teams, managing projects, and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
