Are you an experienced leader in MEP project management? We are seeking a Vice President of MEP to join our team in Boston, MA. This leadership role will be critical in overseeing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects, ensuring successful execution, adherence to quality standards, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop MEP project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Design Review and Approval: Review and approve MEP design proposals, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Construction Oversight: Supervise MEP staff and ensure that construction adheres to approved plans, specifications, and safety guidelines.
  • Engineering Design and Analysis: Provide technical expertise in MEP disciplines and perform complex engineering analysis to validate design concepts.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Establish and enforce quality control measures to ensure high-quality MEP design.
  • Budget and Cost Management: Monitor project budgets and recommend cost-saving opportunities through value engineering.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Client Communication and Business Development: Maintain client relationships, provide updates, and participate in business development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
  • Advanced certifications a plus (e.g., LEED, CEM, PMP).
  • 15+ years of experience managing MEP projects in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial or institutional buildings.
  • Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MEP design software and project management tools.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and experience managing multiple complex projects.
