Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Grant Writer/Grant Co-Ordinator located in South Sioux City, NE. The role involves managing the grant application process, researching funding opportunities, writing grant proposals, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and successful grant implementation.


Qualifications

  • Excellent writing, research, and project management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience in grant writing, fundraising, or related field
  • Knowledge of grant application processes and grant management
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and communicate effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Public Administration or relevant field or combination of education and experience with grant writing and administration.


Education and Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS) or equivalent from four-year college; two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CDBG (Community Development Block Grant) Certified Grant Administrator Designation preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months of acceptance of position.

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
