Grant Manager

At YWCA North Central Indiana, we are seeking a highly skilled Grant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Vice President of Grant Administration and management team to meet the organization's needs. Key responsibilities include managing government-funded post-award grant management, nonprofit financial management, and regulatory compliance monitoring and oversight. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and project management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Reporting Relationship
This position reports directly to the Vice President of Grant Administration.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Responsible for managing government-funded post-award grant management, nonprofit financial management, and regulatory compliance monitoring and oversight.
- Strong writing, organizational, administrative, and project coordination skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate (both verbally and in writing), exercise sound judgment, ask questions, and be open to the input and decisions of others
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively, solve problems, make decisions, and support change
- Oversee the post-award project management of each grant, including draws and supporting documentation
- Communicates with other YWCANCIN staff members about requirements, reporting, spending down funding, and other grant-related communication.
- Assist in maintaining electronic and paper records related to grant files, as well as updating the grants calendar with relevant deadlines and tasks
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and at least two years of grant writing and project management
- Consideration will be given to those who have extensive grant-related experience.
Knowledge and Ability
- Knowledge and experience with grant funding and administration of grants, cooperative agreements, and contracts are required
- At least two years of experience in government-funded post-award grant management, nonprofit financial management, and regulatory compliance monitoring and oversight.
- Computer, Internet, and general proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is required
- Attention to detail, organization, and time management
- General knowledge of the grant cycle with special emphasis given to post-award responsibilities
