Accentuate Staffing is partnering with pre-clinical stage biotech company who is hiring for a Research Associate. This is a part-time, contract to hire opportunity, offering competitive pay, working onsite. The ideal candidate has extensive experience performing cell culture and various molecular biological techniques.
Responsibilities
- Discuss, plan and conduct laboratory experiments and research activities under the guidance of a senior researcher.
- Performing cell culture, molecular biology techniques, transfection experiments and eukaryotic cell electroporations.
- Assist in the development and optimization of assays and protocols.
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets data using various laboratory techniques and equipment.
- Contributes to the preparation of scientific reports and presentations while maintaining accurate records of experimental procedures, results, and observations.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree at minimum, Master’s degree preferred.
- 2 to 3 years of laboratory experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical environment.
- Demonstrated experience with various molecular biological techniques including PCR, qPCR,, and protein techniques including immunoblotting, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA.
- Knowledgeable of cell cultures, transfection methods, flow cytometry and other lab techniques.
