Research Associate - Bioprocessing Expert

Donaldson is a leading technology and innovation company committed to solving complex filtration challenges. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our Reagent Development team in Research Triangle Park, NC.

As a Research Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the development and scaling of IsoTag reagents, a novel affinity liquid phase separation technology for biologics purification. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the production of IsoTag reagents at small and manufacturing scale
  • Performing experiments to optimize IsoTag reagent production at small scale
  • Working with the team to produce documentation for scaling of production processes and manufacturing for IsoTag reagents
  • Supporting outsourced production of IsoTag reagents as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or other relevant scientific discipline
  • 1-3 years of experience in process development or other relevant role
  • Experience working with bioprocessing equipment (bioreactors, AKTA chromatography systems, TFF systems)
  • Highly detailed oriented with excellent documentation skills and exceptional troubleshooting abilities
  • Highly motivated and team-oriented individual
