Licensing Coordinator

A well-known kids and family entertainment company is looking to hire a Licensing Coordinator to their Licensing Out Team, for a long term, minimum 6-month contract (fulltime hours).
This position is on a hybrid schedule (3 days/week onsite) in Los Angeles.
Overview
This is a generalist role with a strong emphasis in legal coordination that will require a highly organized person that is forward thinking, detail-minded, and still offers a creative flair. This position has significant growth potential.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- This role is established @ 70% legal; contract tracking /routing (Docusign) data entry (Mediabox) and organizational processing developing and running reports, and light financial.
- It will balance with 30% project management (i.e. virtual summits, trade show coordination, power point work), research and some administrative efforts on behalf of the executives and the full team.
LEGAL
- Legal Focus – Working internally and externally to track and prioritize contracts in process through to conclusion
- Data entry – All Business terms for Contracts are uploaded into Media Box and Sales Force is now being implemented for streamlining purposes
- Legal and Finance Reports – Manage various reports- Using Excel and other softwares, Monthly/quarterly basis
- Other Document and report management – Amazon, vendor authorizations, invoicing, contract status report.
- Research and compiling data on an ad hoc basis
EXECUTIVE & TEAM SUPPORT
- Working closely with and reporting to the department leaders VP & SVP will require some management of their activities such as scheduling, trade show scheduling, expenses and ad hoc projects.
OCCASIONAL SALES & MARKETING SUPPORT
- Supporting brand teams with customizing Power Point Presentations and communication assets.
- Project management support around summits, fairs, trade shows/fairs, conferences high-profile meetings.
- Ad hoc projects: i.e. competitive analysis, any additional business projects
Required skill and background:
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in business environment, preferably entertainment, toy, fashion
- Some basic legal background or paralegal work
- High Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically with Excel and Power Point.
- Versed in Adobe suite, especially Photo shop and DesignIn, is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work without missing deadlines
- Self-starter, able to work independently in fast-paced environment and resourceful to seek solutions & direction
- Team oriented; able to work well with different personalities and groups
