Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Executive with 3-5 years of experience in software sales. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling software solutions, with a preference for experience in ERP or product sales. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, Follow-ups until closure, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Identify potential clients and generate new leads through networking, cold calling, conferences and industry events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Understand client needs and propose suitable solutions working alongside the technical team, including ERP or other product-based software.
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide clients with insights into the value of our solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (pre-sales, marketing, delivery and customer support) to ensure customer satisfaction and success.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and market dynamics to effectively position solutions.
- Negotiate and close deals, managing the sales process from initial contact to contract signing.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Use CRM systems like Salesforce to update activities and opportunities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in software sales, preferably with a focus on ERP or product sales.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Local to Houston, TX and willing to travel occasionally.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling ERP solutions or enterprise software.
- Familiarity with the Houston business landscape.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles.
