Senior Product Manager, Native Platform

The Role: Chegg is looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager for our native app platform to serve as a vital connection point between learning products squads and the native platform team. The ideal candidate will have experience in stakeholder management, is a true team player, and has great communication skills (verbal, written, can leverage remote teams).

As Senior Product Manager, you will lead thinking and execution along with accountability over the analysis, planning, prioritization, and implementation of Chegg’s Native apps’ core features. Knowledge of Google Play and App Store’s e-commerce, promotional, and OS-level functionality is a must.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the product strategy and roadmap for our iOS and Android native applications, ensuring high performance and minimal bugs.
  2. Develop and maintain shared native components for all learning product teams.
  3. Serve as the resident native expert, consulting with other PMs on feature development for our native app.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and customer support, to deliver high-quality products.
  5. Define and prioritize features, create detailed product specifications, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  6. Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including post-launch performance tracking and optimization.
  7. Ensure seamless integration of new features with existing systems while maintaining product quality.
  8. Communicate roadmap, strategy, and updates to stakeholders at all levels.
  9. Monitor industry trends, OS-level features, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  10. Proactively identify and contribute new feature ideas for improvement.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Bachelor's degree plus 5-7 years of related product management experience or Master's degree with five years of experience OR equivalent training or work experience.
  2. Demonstrated industry knowledge and technical proficiency in leading native operating systems and devices.
  3. Self-motivated; independent, organized, and proactive; highly responsive, flexible, and adaptable.
  4. Communicates to inform, share, improve, and maintain an open dialogue.
  5. Strong communication skills; able to effectively influence team members.

The pay range for this position is $132,188 to $188,840. The actual pay will vary based on geographic location, job requirements, professional experience, and other factors.
