About the Company and Opportunity:



  • Our client is a non-profit in the heart of DC.
  • Due to a project, they are looking to bring on a temporary HR Generalist.
  • Duration: 3-4 months
  • Pay: $35-40/hr depending on experience

Overview of the HR Generalist role:



  • New Hire Onboarding/Orientation
  • Employee Relations
  • Talent Acquisition - posting ADs, interviewing, etc.
  • Worker Comp Claims
  • Benefit Admin - open enrollment
  • Ad hoc projects / reporting

Preferred Qualifications for the HR Generalist:



  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience
  • ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus
  • Extremely organized, able to multi-task effectively and attentive to detail
  • Must be detail oriented with the ability to work independently
  • Fast and accurate data entry required
