Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Segment Risk Specialist: II (Intermediate) located in Columbus, Ohio. The role primarily involves taking responsibility for operational and execution aspects of manual and cross-dependent automation processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting. The successful candidate will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on teamwork, communication, and accountability.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and produce reporting, including compliance status metric visualizations for risk committee materials and senior management transparency.
• Write and maintain standard operating procedures and process maps for Risk Center of Excellence procedures.
• Participate in audits and quality assessments to ensure compliance and progress.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and partners to improve operational procedures and processes.
• Use Microsoft Office Suites, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Tableau for various tasks such as cost analysis and metrics visualization.
• Educate and assist team members in understanding and implementing procedures and regulations.
• Handle materials and resources efficiently, ensuring their proper use and management.
• Take an active role in training initiatives to ensure all team members are up-to-date with the latest procedures and compliance regulations.
• Use strong communication skills to effectively manage customer inquiries and maintain accurate customer credit records.
• Utilize automation tools to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey information to various stakeholders and partners.
• Proven experience in risk management, ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulations.
• Ability to handle materials and maintain quality of work in a regulated environment.
• Previous experience with auditing and consulting, particularly in identifying potential risks and suggesting mitigation strategies.
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Tableau.
• Demonstrated ability in metrics analysis, cost analysis, and progress tracking, using these to drive decision-making processes.
• Strong collaboration skills, with a proven track record of contributing to a team environment.
• Ability to train others in compliance and risk management procedures.
• Experience with automation systems and processes in the context of risk management.
• Expertise in handling operations, ensuring smooth running of day-to-day tasks.
• Proficient in compliance management, ensuring all actions adhere to internal and external regulations.
• Experience working with modules in a business setting, with the ability to understand and manage complex systems.
