  • Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Support:

  • Assist in sourcing high-quality seafood products from local and international suppliers.
  • Maintain and update supplier databases, including pricing, lead times, and product availability.
  • Support the negotiation of purchase terms, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.

Logistics Coordination:

  • Coordinate the transportation and delivery of seafood products from suppliers to our warehouses.
  • Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and address any issues that arise during transit.
  • Work closely with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and customs brokers to manage import/export processes.

Inventory Management:

  • Assist in tracking inventory levels and ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained.
  • Update and manage inventory records in the company’s database.
  • Support the planning and execution of stock replenishment orders.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, shipping documents, and customs declarations.
  • Ensure all procurement and logistics activities comply with local and international regulations, including health and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications with suppliers and logistics partners.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align procurement and logistics activities with customer demand.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is a MUST
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of procurement and logistics processes is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with SAP a plus, but not required
