ABOUT BEAUTY FROM ASHES RANCH/ HOPE RISING ARIZONA:

At Beauty From Ashes Ranch (BFAR)/ Hope Rising Arizona (HRA), a 501(c)(3) Christian non-profit organization, the board, staff, and volunteers all play a part in creating a safe sanctuary to help with the healing from complex trauma that survivors of sexual trafficking and exploitation have endured. We seek to serve these women survivors with the same love that God has for all His creation, and we believe these women are created in His image, full of worth and purpose. We are a long-term ranch sanctuary where survivors will live in safety, reacclimate to life, find healing for their trauma, and get an education to build the lives that they deserve. Residents live at the ranch on their own accord, and BFAR’s/ HRA’s goal is that whether it takes one year or five years, survivors will one day leave the ranch and transition to a new life. This life will be filled by the love of God, free from trauma and shame, and fully equipped for a life of purpose. We plan to welcome our first 4-6 survivor residents starting in February 2025 and grow to a total capacity of 20+ residents within a few years.

JOB OVERVIEW:

As an essential part of the Beauty From Ashes Ranch/ Hope Rising Arizona team, the RSC ensures a nurturing and supportive on-site evening / night environment and weekend day experience for residents. The RSC supervises residents and leads activities on two evening/night shifts per week and one weekend day shift per week. The RSC also manages the scheduling of all evening/night staff.

The Resident Support Coordinator (RSC) ensures a safe and ‘family-like’ environment so our survivors can learn essential life skills and begin to build healthy relationships. Working closely with the Program Director (PD), the RSC will help execute the overall experience for our survivor residents. Along with all other staff the RSC provides support for residents’ scheduled programming and ensures BFAR/ HRAZ policy enforcement.

Neither the BFAR/HRA organization, nor staff, will provide any direct clinical mental health or medical health care services, but the on-site Resident Support Coordinator, under the direction for the the Program Director and collaborating with the APD Asst., will encourage and ensure appropriate access to clinical service providers for our residents. The RSC position will take on responsibilities related to the resident experience that include companionship, group and individual activities, meal preparation, discussions, lessons, encouragement, reassurance, and redirection as needed. The ideal candidate is a caring, patient, and strong individual that values upholding policies. They should be adaptable, empathetic, reliable, and driven to provide our survivor residents with an effective and meaningful experience at the Beauty From Ashes Ranch/ Hope Rising Arizona.
