Job Description:
Position: Public Relations Manager
Location: New York, NY
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic PR Development: Create and implement PR strategies that align with the brand's identity and business objectives. Develop and manage media campaigns that highlight our collections and brand heritage.
- Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, fashion editors, influencers, and industry insiders. Secure media placements and coverage that reflect the brand’s prestige and appeal.
- Content Creation: Craft compelling press materials, including press releases, media kits, and pitch letters. Ensure consistent and engaging brand messaging across all platforms.
- Event Coordination: Collaborate with the events team to support and promote high-profile events such as product launches, fashion shows, and exclusive brand events. Ensure that events are executed flawlessly and reflect the brand’s elegance and sophistication.
- Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze PR metrics and industry trends to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. Stay informed about competitive activities and market dynamics.
- Brand Advocacy: Act as the brand’s spokesperson and represent in media interviews, industry panels, and networking events. Advocate for the brand’s values and vision in all external communications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations, preferably within the fashion or luxury goods sector.
- Established network of media contacts and influencers within the fashion industry.
- Exceptional writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
