The Director of Strategy and Operations, Salesforce AI, plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction, driving operational excellence, and ensuring alignment across the company to drive our generational objectives to be the leader in AI + Data + CRM.

They are responsible for supporting the broad Salesforce AI team in developing and executing our go-to-market strategy in partnership with product management, marketing, sales, customer success, pricing strategy, finance, and legal teams to ensure Salesforce AI's success in the market. This dynamic leader boasts a proven track record in strategic planning, execution, and cross-functional collaboration in complex organizations. They have experience in SaaS products, AI transformations, and product strategy in rapidly developing, high-speed markets.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support the development and execution of the go-to-market strategy for Salesforce AI products and services, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  2. Manage key AI go-to-market programs from inception to completion, including planning, execution, and measurement of success metrics.
  3. Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, marketing, and sales teams to develop and execute pricing and packaging strategies that optimize revenue and market penetration.
  4. Support pricing and packaging strategy for AI, by working closely with our central monetization organization, finance, product, and others.
  5. Communicate effectively by developing and delivering presentations to internal and external audiences, clearly articulating the value proposition and benefits of Salesforce AI products and services.
  6. Establish and facilitate regular operating rhythms and leadership meetings to foster collaboration, streamline decision-making, and ensure effective execution across the organization.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field.
  2. 10+ years of experience in technology product management, marketing, or sales.
  3. Experience in startups or smaller organizations that are building new categories.
  4. Preferred direct experience with the current generation of AI capabilities.
  5. Experience with managing cross-functional programs.
  6. Excellent financial analysis and modeling skills.
  7. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  8. Strong leadership and communication skills.
