Sales Order Processor

Reports to: Distribution Manager

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Must be able to work 3PM - 11:30PM (+$1/hr Shift Differential)


Service Wire Company, a premier supplier of industrial and utility wire and cable, is currently seeking a Sales Order Processor in our Phoenix, AZ location. If you are looking to join a great organization and an opportunity to become a part of our growing team, this may be the job for you


Responsibilities:

  • Assign and allocate orders within database system
  • Maintain and organize record and filing system(s) to facilitate access and retrieval
  • Engage in data entry (entering request and orders)
  • Assist with shipping and receiving of customer orders (including processing Bill of Lading and attending customer pick-up window)
  • Assist with inventory and tag preparation
  • Monitor and track status of sales orders
  • Organize/maintain correspondence, files, and records
  • Provide updates regarding order status (hot orders and back orders)
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor


Experience/Education:

  • 2-year degree preferred
  • 2+ years previous administrative or clerical experience
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and phone skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related computer applications
  • Strong typing and data entry skills
  • Familiarity with operations of general office equipment to include printers, copiers, faxes, scanners, etc.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills; attention to detail
  • Cooperatively works and interacts with members of various departments
