Role Overview:

We are seeking a Director of Talent Management to lead our talent management function for a dynamic, rapidly growing organization in the SaaS marketing technology sector. This role will report to the Head of People and will oversee the Learning & Development Specialist. The position requires working onsite in New York City four days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Learning and Development:

    • Manage the full spectrum of learning and development processes, including needs analysis, instructional design, and delivery.
    • Develop and customize training programs to meet both business objectives and individual career goals.
    • Coordinate with external vendors for specialized training and ensure alignment with organizational needs.
    • Assess training effectiveness and monitor participation metrics.
  2. Career Pathing and Succession Planning:

    • Develop and maintain career pathing frameworks aligned with business requirements and employee growth.
    • Integrate succession planning into business operations to ensure a strong leadership pipeline.
    • Create and execute talent development strategies tailored to various employee levels.
  3. Talent Development Strategy:

    • Design and implement development programs to address diverse employee needs.
    • Oversee executive coaching for senior leaders and align talent strategies with business objectives.
    • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to ensure cohesive talent development strategies.
  4. Program Evaluation and Improvement:

    • Regularly assess the effectiveness of talent management initiatives and make data-driven improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 7 years in Talent Management, Learning & Development, or a related field.
  • Expertise: Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing development programs, career pathing, and succession planning.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with learning management systems and HR technology.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to measure and evaluate training program success effectively.
  • Leadership: Proven capability to lead and develop a team.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaboration: Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
