JRAD is seeking full time candidates supporting the Director of Air Force Civil Engineers (AF/A4C). Primarily telework with onsite presence in NCR as required.


Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to AF/A4CX to analyze threat, Management Internal Control Toolset (MICT), Automated Readiness Information System (ARIS), Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), Lessons Learned (LL), Inspector General Evaluation Management System (IGEMS), and exercise data and make recommendations to the AF/A4C Career Field Managers (CFMs) on Civil Engineer (CE) training.
  • Directly supports 3E9 Emergency Manager (EM) and 32E Civil Engineer (CE) Officer CFMs on EM and CBRN training. Ensures related training addresses most current threat information.
  • Coordinates with Joint Staff, Air Force Institute of Technology, and Air Education and Training Command, to manage CE attendance at the CBRN Joint Senior Leaders Course, Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) EM courses, the EM Apprentice Course and the CBRN-Qualified Engineer Course.
  • Assists the 3E9 EM CFM and the EM Functional Advisor to the Department of the Air Force (DAF) CE Civilian CFM in tasks associated with their roles
  • Prepares briefings, bullet background papers (BBPs), or other documentation in support of working groups, integrated product teams, and tiger teams analyzing CBRN requirements, programs and issues.
  • Provides thorough review and coordination of Joint Service and Air Force Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) related to EM and CBRN.
  • Recommends corrective actions to the DAF government representatives.


Required Skills and Education:

  • Standard Requirement: BS/BA
  • Tradeoff: Minimum of twelve (12) years of emergency management and CBRN Defense experience across a full spectrum threat environment
  • Proficient in MS Software Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Security Clearance:

  • TS/SCI and NATO clearances required
