About the Role

As a Cyber Triage Analyst on our team, you will play a critical role in supporting a Department of Defense (DoD) client by reviewing and vetting security vulnerability reports submitted by independent security researchers. Your primary responsibility will be to verify the validity and scope of the reported vulnerabilities, assess each vulnerability for severity, and assign an associated risk score.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and vet security vulnerability reports submitted by independent security researchers
  • Verify the validity and scope of reported vulnerabilities
  • Assess each vulnerability for severity and assign a risk score
  • Serve as a liaison between public researchers and DoD system owners
  • Monitor and track progress on report submissions
  • Validate mitigation or remediation actions throughout the lifecycle of the reports
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or engineering
  • Knowledge of Information Assurance tools, such as eMASS or ACAS
  • Ability to professionally communicate with internal and external customers
  • Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with STIG requirements
  • CEH, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GCIH, GICSP, PenTest+, or related certification
