Our client is a locally owned and operated insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our community. As they prepare for a period of transition, they are seeking a temporary Office Admin to support their office in Cedar Rapids, Iowa during a maternity leave.
We are looking for an organized and proactive Office Admin to assist the day-to-day administrative tasks and support our team starting in September 2024 until December 2024/January 2025. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence
- Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional manner
- Schedule and manage appointments and meetings
- Prepare and process documents, reports, and correspondence
- Maintain and organize office files and records
- Assist with data entry and updating client information in our database
- Perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing
- Provide support to other team members as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
