Links Global seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research and Evaluation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be crucial in designing, implementing, and overseeing research projects and evaluation initiatives. The position requires strong analytical skills, the ability to synthesize complex data, and a commitment to producing evidence-based insights that contribute to informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

Research Design and Planning
   - Develop and design research projects and evaluation strategies.
   - Collaborate with stakeholders to define research objectives, methodologies, and data collection techniques.

Data Collection and Analysis
   - Conduct primary and secondary research using a variety of methods, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and literature reviews.
   - Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to derive meaningful insights and conclusions.
   - Utilize statistical tools and software for data analysis.

Evaluation Framework Development
   - Establish evaluation frameworks to assess program effectiveness and outcomes.
   - Design and implement metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.

Report Generation
   - Prepare clear and concise research reports and evaluation findings.
   - Communicate research results to internal and external stakeholders through written reports, presentations, and other mediums.

Quality Assurance
   - Ensure the accuracy and reliability of research data through rigorous quality assurance processes.
   - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate findings.

Continuous Improvement
   - Stay current with research methodologies and trends in evaluation practices.
   - Identify opportunities for process improvement and the enhancement of research methodologies.

Project Management
   - Manage multiple research projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and delivery of high-quality results.
   - Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate research initiatives.

Qualifications

- Master's degree in Research, Evaluation, Social Sciences, or a related field (Ph.D. is a plus).
- Proven experience in designing and conducting research studies and program evaluations.
- Strong analytical and statistical skills, with proficiency in relevant software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing accurate and reliable results.

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with research ethics and protocols.
- Experience working in diverse research settings, including academic, non-profit, or government environments.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools for conveying research findings.
- Project management certification is advantageous.
