Job Title: Maintenance Planner

Location: Miami, FL

The Maintenance Planner assists the Maintenance department in providing the necessary maintenance resources and record-keeping that is required to increase plant productivity. Must be able to identify and prioritize multiple projects and perform work with a constant awareness of improving processes. Preparation of reports, metrics, and other tracking tools will allow this employee to succeed.

Job Duties:

  • Review, analyze, print, and organize customer work packages for the maintenance department.
  • Liaison with the customer regarding any changes or corrections to work packages.
  • Prepare daily non-Routine status reports.
  • Create Non-Routine customer work cards.
  • Create parts and tooling requisitions as required.
  • Close all task cards and non-routines in customers' M&E system.
  • Maintain the repair station premises in a clean and orderly manner
  • Perform other duties as instructed by the Director of Maintenance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Must pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a current valid Driver’s License.
  • Frequently be required to stand, walk, continually utilize hand, and finger dexterity, climb, balance, bend or crawl, occasionally from heights in precarious places.
  • Frequently lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds.
  • Awareness that he/she will be working near and around moving mechanical parts, around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals, and exposure to loud noises.
  • Experience in operating equipment and reading technical information.
  • Exposure to weather conditions outside as well as non-weather conditions such as extreme heat or cold.

Qualifications:

  • FAA A&P License is highly preferred.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience working in aviation maintenance.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
