Job Summary
We're looking for a dynamic and proactive HR Generalist with expertise in HR compliance and fluency in both English and Spanish to join our team. As a vital member of our organization, you'll manage various human resources functions to strengthen our operations in California, Texas, and Arizona. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a substantial impact on the growth and success of our thriving binational company.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Addresses employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Coordinates and administers employee qualified intermittent or continuous leave of absence requests.
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Analyzes employment-related data and prepares required reports.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Collaborates closely with fellow members of the HR department to efficiently carry out projects intended to improve both the department and the overall organization.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 2-4 years of Human Resources experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- HR Certificate, SHRM or HRCI certification a plus.
