Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Warehouse Operations Operator 1 to join our team in Covington, Georgia. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient processing and handling of customer orders within a fast-paced distribution environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Processing: Scan bar codes, label boxes, pick products, and prepare packages for shipment.
  • Palletizing: Scan, retrieve, and place completed orders on pallets. Re-palletize products as needed for shipment.
  • Dock Manifest Duties: Scan completed pallets and operate shrink wrapper. May also handle ground/manual manifest station responsibilities.
  • Material Handling: Transport pallets using material handling equipment as required.
  • Standards Adherence: Complete all duties in a timely manner following departmental standards and procedures. Maintain an acceptable work area as per Quality System Regulations (QSR) and adhere to Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Safety: Prioritize safety by maintaining safe working conditions and adhering to proper operating practices and procedures to prevent injuries and illnesses.
  • Attendance: Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced distribution environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret distribution documents.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and under minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in operating material handling equipment and RF scanners.
  • Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment and using an electric pallet jack.
  • Basic analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • General computer proficiency and understanding of distribution and QSR knowledge.
