As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of production staff, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance and feedback.
- Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules, manage inventory, and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet company standards, and investigate and resolve any quality issues that arise.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with production staff, management, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that arise.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a production management role, with a proven track record of success in managing production staff and improving efficiency and productivity.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, some college coursework preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Bi-lingual: Proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic math calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
This is a night shift role, working Monday through Thursday (10 hour shift), with occasional work on Fridays. The physical demands of this role include working in a manufacturing and warehouse setting, with exposure to mechanical and electrical equipment.
