Material Handler

Join our dedicated team as a General Laborer, where you will collaborate with logistics personnel to oversee incoming shipments. Your responsibilities will include receiving deliveries, verifying their accuracy against shipping documents, and unloading goods from delivery vehicles. You will inspect items to ensure they are intact and confirm shipments according to purchase orders and invoices, addressing any inconsistencies by communicating with suppliers or transporters.

Your duties will also encompass returning unsatisfactory shipments, accepting replacements, labeling incoming goods, organizing them in designated areas, ensuring invoices are signed and processed for satisfactory deliveries, and assisting with inventory management.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position.

Work Environment

The work setting consists of two distinct facilities, each serving different functions. One facility focuses on gas and dry processes, producing solid/slurry products, while the other is dedicated to liquid processes and managing excess material combustion. The site may have a noticeable chemical odor, particularly in the liquid processing area. Safety is paramount; all personnel are required to wear safety glasses, steel-toed footwear, long sleeves, and pants. Respirator masks may be necessary, which requires adherence to a clean-shaven policy for safety compliance.
