Job Description:

Hotel Amarano is seeking a dynamic and versatile Rooms and Food & Beverage Crossover Associate to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks across multiple departments, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests. This role requires flexibility, a strong work ethic, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Running Food and Bussing Tables: Assist the Food & Beverage team by promptly delivering food orders to guests and clearing tables to maintain a clean and inviting dining environment.
  • Maintaining Pool Area: Ensure the pool area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with towels and other necessary items. Monitor the area to maintain a safe and pleasant atmosphere for guests.
  • Stocking Towels: Regularly check and replenish towel supplies in the pool area, spa, and other designated locations.
  • Running Guest Request Items: Deliver requested items such as extra towels, pillows, toiletries, and other amenities to guest rooms in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Valet Parking: Assist with valet parking services, including greeting guests, safely parking and retrieving vehicles, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Bell Service: Welcome guests upon arrival, assist with luggage, and provide information about hotel facilities and services. Ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process.
  • Stripping Rooms and Beds: Support the housekeeping team by stripping beds and preparing rooms for cleaning. Ensure linens and towels are properly sorted and sent to the laundry department.
  • Running Housekeeping Items: Deliver supplies and equipment to housekeeping staff as needed to support their efforts in maintaining cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
  • Assisting Laundry Department: Help the laundry team with sorting, washing, folding, and distributing linens and towels. Ensure timely and efficient processing of laundry items.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Flexibility to take on additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by the Director of Guest Experience to ensure smooth operations and outstanding guest service.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English; bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for valet parking duties.
