Since the company's birth, in 1981, Tight Quarters, Inc. has provided quality assistance to the world of demolition, grading, and concrete cutting and breaking for commercial, residential and industrial communities throughout greater Southern California.

As a Project Coordinator at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of logistics activities for our construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to oversee the logistics aspects of project execution. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, team-player demeanor, strong organizational and multitasking skills, and can ensure all customers, both internal and external, are provided with exceptional communication and world-class service.

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Schedules and dispatches work crews, vehicles and equipment, to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, daily.
  • Works with operations to schedule/order equipment.
  • Ensures world-class project coordination and communication to all involved parties.
  • Communicates with Estimators, GC's and other stakeholders, accordingly.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Construction experience preferred
  • Equipment dispatching a plus
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong work ethic and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer knowledge (Word, Excel a plus)
  • Bilingual (English + Spanish) preferred
  • Capable of multi-tasking assignments
  • Ability to handle high volume of inquiries at times via inbound/outbound phones calls, texts and emails
