Job Summary: As an HR Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our Human Resources department with various administrative and operational tasks. Your responsibilities will include managing employee records, assisting with recruitment processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

o

Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (Human Resource Information System).

o

Prepare and process HR documentation, including employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding materials.

o

Assist with scheduling and coordinating interviews, meetings, and HR events.

Recruitment Assistance:

o

Post job openings on various job boards and company website.

o

Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.

o

Coordinate interviews and follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process.

Employee Relations:

o

Address employee inquiries and provide information on HR policies and procedures.

o

Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training coordination.

o

Help with employee engagement initiatives and maintain a positive work environment.

Compliance and Record-Keeping:

o

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

o

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and files.

o

Assist with the preparation of reports and documentation for audits and regulatory requirements.

General HR Support:

o

Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs and respond to related inquiries.

o

Support HR projects and initiatives as needed, including employee surveys and performance management processes.

o

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

o

Associate’s degree in Human Resources degree preferred.

Experience:

o

At least 1-2 years of experience in an HR or administrative role preferred.

o

Familiarity with HR software (e.g., HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills:

o

Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.

o

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

o

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

o

Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Additional Requirements:

o

Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is a plus.

o

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively.
