Job Purpose:

The E-Commerce Production Artist/Quality Specialist is tasked with developing web-ready templates for e-commerce storefronts, ensuring all files meet print-ready standards and projects are completed on schedule. This role also involves reviewing and verifying the accuracy and functionality of team members' work before it goes live on the storefront. The specialist will work closely with the E-Commerce Team Lead to meet all project criteria promptly, ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy, and time management.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage print-ready files and create web-ready templates tailored for e-commerce platforms.
  • Deconstruct and reassemble customer art files using advanced template software, maintaining integrity and quality of the design.
  • Build and oversee products on various e-commerce platforms, ensuring consistent quality and usability.
  • Maintain effective communication with customer service and internal teams to ensure project requirements are fully understood and met.
  • Monitor and uphold quality standards for all completed projects to ensure readiness for website upload and/or production.
  • Multi-task across multiple projects, managing time efficiently to meet or exceed client expectations and project deadlines.
  • Diligently follow a structured quality assurance process.
  • Assist with other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and eagerness to learn and contribute to team efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Prior experience or education in the graphic communication/printing industry is preferred.
  • Previous experience in quality assurance is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with specific template software such as Four51 or Pageflex is advantageous.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities, capable of effectively articulating ideas and collaborating with various teams.
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills with a proactive approach in addressing challenges and improving processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills, with an aptitude for teamwork and client interactions.
  • Not afraid to ask questions and seek guidance when necessary to ensure clarity and success in project outcomes.
