Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJoin our client's team as an Avionics Technician in Kansas City, Missouri, offering a competitive hourly rate with the highest non-taxable per diem in the market, including overtime opportunities. They are seeking individuals with a minimum of three years of Commercial MRO experience, proficient in aircraft models like 737, 767, and Airbus. This is a contractor position with a start date available immediately.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret engineering documents and schematics accurately
  • Conduct troubleshooting and Ops Checks efficiently
  • Perform tasks with minimal supervision following maintenance practices
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements per FAR 65
  • Communicate effectively with team members on job-related matters

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Airframe and/or Powerplant License preferred
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program or two years of related commercial/military aircraft experience
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and work in varying environments
  • Proficiency in avionics maintenance tasks and aircraft specialties
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
