Job Summary

Yulista Support Services LLC is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Electrical Systems Technician to join our team. As an Aircraft Electrical Systems Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex electrical systems on aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in aircraft electrical systems, including electrical components and wiring.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing damaged aircraft components and wiring.
  • Perform routine disassembly, repair, modification, assembly, testing, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and accessories.
  • Perform functional checks on existing and newly installed aircraft electrical systems, equipment, wiring, and cables to check continuity, resistance, amperage, and insulation breakdown.
  • Correct discrepancies by removal, repair, or replacement of defective or deleted circuits, wires, connectors, control units, plugs, switches, circuit breakers, diodes, resistors, capacitors, relays, and other parts of aircraft electrical systems.
  • Examine and prepare components and wiring to locate defects; perform repairs on aircraft electrical systems; identify, address, and take steps to resolve current, emergent, and projected electrical anomalies associated with wire harness installation.
  • Document maintenance as per Quality Assurance (QA) established regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a high state of cleanliness and utilize a clean-as-you-go process when executing maintenance duties.
  • Comply with processes and procedures as per the Department of Homeland Security / Department of Defense (DHS/DOD) documents and publications.
Requirements
  • Possess high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in electrical/Avionics aircraft maintenance or possess an aviation technical school certification or degree in an Aviation Electrical discipline.
  • Experience with the USCG H65 aircraft is highly desired.
  • Capable to communicate utilizing the English language.
  • Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
  • Must be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance.
  • Must possess basic/moderate computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Calista shareholders and their descendants and to spouses of Calista shareholders, and to shareholders of other corporations created pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act.
