- Support due diligence and research activities related to site acquisition and new development projects
- Assist with the establishment and operational setup of management companies
- Organize and manage general office tasks to ensure smooth operations
- Pay bills and monitor expenses and income using accounting software
- Participate in meetings related to development projects and assist with project management tasks as needed
- Aid in the preparation and proofreading of presentations, written reports, and marketing materials
- Handle phone calls, greet visitors, and provide a professional front-line presence
- Follow up with tenants and contractors as required to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues
- Demonstrated interest in real estate development and management
- Strong attention to detail and a robust work ethic
- Ability to work independently with a proactive, self-starting approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in a professional office environment
- Proficiency in general accounting and bookkeeping principles
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
- Proficient in QuickBooks REQUIRED
- Experience with Buildium is preferred
