POSITION SUMMARY

The Associate Director, Specialty Distribution and Patient Services is responsible for the seamless execution of YCANTH’s specialty pharmacy, patient services, and copay support programs, and any future product launches. This position will specifically focus on optimization and pull through at the office level for YCANTH’s Buy and Bill and White Bag Specialty Pharmacy Models. This role will be tied to increasing sales above the current growth line.

Additional responsibilities for this role include Specialty Distributor and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) oversight and pull through execution from the 3PL to the end customer. There will be a heavy focus on analyzing channel data to create incremental sales opportunities in both Buy and Bill and Specialty Pharmacy.

The Associate Director, Specialty Distribution and Patient Services will disseminate our GPO strategy to Verrica and the GPO’s sales teams and conduct weekly cross-functional collaboration meetings with our GPO partners, affiliated distributors, and Verrica personnel with the sole focus of driving sales and opening up new channels of business.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analyze and distribute data to regions with strategies and tactics on how to increase Specialty Pharmacy Dispenses
  • Work with Verrica Specialty Pharmacies to create actionable plans that increase Rx turnaround times and decrease cancellation rates
  • Increase our total patient fill rate
  • Support our Sales and Field Reimbursement teams with sales strategies across HUB, Copay, Distribution and Specialty Pharmacy services
  • Continuously work to optimize and improve our Patient Services offerings
  • Support our Business Operations Team with all Channel Data analysis and review
  • Work with our Specialty Distributors to streamline the New Account Setup Process, Inside Sales Activities, and demand generation
  • Create Sale Strategies to support uptake with our office based and hospital GPO’s
  • Create PowerPoint Presentations and Excel Files as needed
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s Degree. MBA preferred, 8 years of experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotech
  • 5 years of experience working in a trade, distribution, specialty pharmacy or patient services roles
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal), presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Need to be willing to travel 50% of the time
PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time at a desk. Normal requirements for office operations with respect to lifting, standing and walking. The position will require travel, sometimes frequent, during routine responsibilities.
