DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance with cooperative technology.
  • Perform both in person and remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques as directed.
  • Monitor and respond to support requests using the phone, email, texts, and the appropriate task training software. Documents support interactions, time and resources used in the help desk software program.
  • Participates in development of customer training programs by identifying learning issues and recommending training opportunities.
  • Supports testing and reviewing of new technology, the integration with existing technology and document issues as directed.
  • Support the installation and configuration of technologies serving both the company and individual users to the standards identified in the department library as directed.

EDUCATION, LICENSE & EXPERIENCE:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Two years of prior experience providing technical support for an office, retail, or school environment.
  • In lieu of the experience requirement a 1-year certification or training program may be submitted.
