The Production / Kitting Technician is responsible for preparing recipes to supply to the Mixing Operators. Following SOP’s and safety procedures, the Kitter puts together the needed recipes for production, and via a conveying system, sends to production.


Production / Kitting Technician Responsibilities

  • Measure and prepare need raw materials for recipe containers
  • Deduct the utilized Raw Materials while prepping recipes
  • Load and unload need materials from their present location to work area
  • Ensure compliance with Safety and professional standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Follow production Master Schedule for prepping recipes
  • Report any issues to immediate supervisor
  • Responsible for ensuring proper shift change information
  • Identify and label recipes for production visual management
  • Wear proper PPEs at all time
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:

Qualifications & Skill Requirements:

  • Ability to quickly learn production equipment
  • Ability to use forklift (we can qualify candidate inhouse)
  • Good problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to adhere to production processes
  • Ability to read tags/labels
  • Ability to measure, count, weigh Raw Materials


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping
  • Must be able to work in changing climatic conditions (Cold environment in the winter months and hot in the summer months)
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
  • Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect preparations
